Mahdi Jahami is a licensed professional mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the energy and utility infrastructure sectors. Currently pursuing a doctorate in mechanical engineering at The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, he specializes in energy systems, renewable fuels, and sustainability. He also holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento, and an MBA from Pittsburgh State University.
Mahdi Jahami’s research focuses on advancing sustainable energy technologies to decarbonize the transportation sector, a major source of global emissions. Through the evaluation and optimization of hydrogen production processes, the design and integration of renewable energy systems, and the application of comprehensive life cycle assessments, he aims to develop technically robust strategies that significantly reduce carbon footprints and support a transition to a more sustainable future.
