Dalton Langner is a PhD candidate at the University of Alabama, having joined the ECL in 2019 after also completing his BS in Mechanical engineering from Alabama. His work consists of experimentation with both the radial and annular RDEs in the ECL, with a focus on the radial system. Dalton was an integral part of the design and build-up of the radial RDE and its incorporation into the existing infrastructure of the lab. He is versed in probe measurements along with high-speed imaging and laser diagnostics including Particle Image Velocimetry and Rainbow Schlieren Deflectometry.
