Robert Miller is a researcher in Engines and Combustion Lab (ECL) at The University of Alabama (UA) and an assistant professor with the Department of Engineering and Technology at the University of West Alabama. Robert joined ECL in Summer 2017 and has been working with various projects including annular RDE, radial RDE, and detonation tube projects. His research focus is to characterize flow inside the RDE and in the exhaust flow of the RDE with specific quantifications of advanced pressure transducer technology. He applies various diagnostics for pressure gain combustion, and detonation experiments. Robert completed his MS and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UA and is expected to complete PhD in Fall 2024. He is Associate in Applied Science in Machine Tool Technology and Computerized Numerical Control from Shelton State Community College.
