Spencer Hall is a PhD student and a researcher in the Engines and Combustion Lab (ECL) at The University of Alabama (UA). Spencer joined the ECL in Fall of 2019 and has worked on various projects with a focus on diesel engine optimization and prototyping. His research focus is to develop advanced Real-Time engine controls for simultaneous emissions reduction and improved efficiency. He implements engine controls and data acquisition for engine dynamometer testing. Spencer completed his BS in Physics at Eastern Kentucky University and MS in Mechanical Engineering at UA.
